Crunchy Nut Seed Treat 

This is a quick and simple recipe that is packed full of energy! Nuts and seeds contain many beneficial oils and proteins! This delicious treat is easy to make and can be enjoyed with the knowlege that it is processed sugar free, dairy free, gluten free and 10% vegan!

 

 

 

Crunchy Nut Seed Treats

2 Tbsp Safflower Oil or Coconut Oil

1/4 cup malt barley syrup or brown rice syrup

3 Tbsp cup maple syrup

1 cup chopped organic Almonds

1 cup organic Sunflower seeds

1/2 cup whole rolled oats

1/2 cup organic Black Currants or Raisins 

1 cup sesame seeds

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

 

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Ferenheit. In a small bowl mix together all dry ingredients. Set aside. In a Sauce pan heat oil, malt barley syrup and maple syrup, stirring until bubbles form and it begins to foam. Add dry mixture to sauce pan and coat with sweet foam mixture. Spread onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until it just starts to becomes golden. Let cool and break into a medium desired sized pieces. Enjoy!
